Wanny

Wanny aims to carry out chemical treatments and washing in a continuous way and in rope form. Wanny is composed by a series of tanks with temperature control and counter-current hydraulics similar to conventional washing systems, but according to a revolutionary logic: ACTIVE WASH.

Wanny's revolution lies in the continuous movement of back and forth in the soft flow nozzles (from 24 to 40 nozzles depending on the model), while maintaining constant continuous entry and exit from the system. At the end of the process, the passages through the nozzles (Active Washing) vary on average from 80 to 100 times in 30-40 minutes of total permanence of the fabric in the machine. This allows an enormous washing power in a reduced dwell time. The concept is similar to the tea bag: the solution of the tea occurs much more quickly if the bag is repeatedly immersed in water, rather than leaving it static in the cup.

The enormous water / product / fabric exchange plus the dwell time allow the simple development of chemical treatments, otherwise complex, if not impossible in conventional continuous systems, such as enzymatic anti-pilling, optical whiteness, reductive clearing and obviously bleaching, or usually relegated to discontinuous processes in dyeing machines or in expensive open width lines.

On the other hand, the same elements of frequency and permanence guarantee an unique effectiveness in the washing treatments (scouring, after printing or neutralization / rinsing) which assimilate the Wanny processing speeds to common continuous washing systems.

The use of the rope and the free movement of the fabric also ensure a context of relaxation and natural shrinkage of the fabric that is impossible to achieve in open width, as well as an exchange efficiency unmatched to date, guaranteed by the overflow nozzles.

Wanny adopts the logic of modularity: by combining 3 different modules (QUICK, CHEM and WASH) it allows to fulfill the most varied treatment needs, through flexible and multi-functional configurations.

The dosage of chemical products can be configured at will by means of dedicated pumps for each individual product, product vessels, suction and injection system built for maximum accuracy.

K-Booster

K-BOOSTER was born as an auxiliary and efficient drying unit, for the needs of high productivity and sensitivity to cost per meter, according to a sustainable process philosophy, today indispensable.
K-Booster, therefore, follows a logic of modularity (1 or 2 chambers) to be able to adapt to different production needs, but given the enormous evaporation capacity in a very small space, it can also be conceived as a stand alone unit for pure drying.
The manufacturing design follows the modern technologies of stenters, with the presence of blowers to invest the fabric on both sides (air impinging). The highly innovative component resides in a multiple vertical fabric thread path, instead of the conventional linear and horizontal, allowing a maximum ratio between spaces and fabric content, maximizing the evaporation capacity, with forced suction solutions (Smart Vacuum) and air recycling as per in a stenter.
Each module contains 15 m of fabrics (as a 5 chamber stenter) in a very limited space (slightly over 2 meters), 600 kw thermal power installed and 2 motors of 22 kw.
Designed as a module of a line or stand-alone unit, K-BOOSTER is equipped with an inlet from both a spreading & slat centering device or a loop control sensor. Paralelly, at the exit, it can be equipped with an infrared synchronism sensor or be equipped with an independent flat folding device.
Electrical panel and control panel can be integral with the K-BOOSTER or inserted in the centralized panel of the line.
K-BOOSTER is the ideal complement to our tumbling lines, enabling to optimize the process and reach an ideal degree of residual moisture in order to obtain the best effects from the subsequent tumbling process.
K-BOOSTER can also be used as a standalone dryer for woven fabrics, at the end of the washing line thanks to its very small space and enormous evaporative capacity.
Each module reaches very high evaporation performances, up to 360 kg/h, adjustable depending on the air and temperatures settings.

FlyAIR

FlyAIR is the ultimate solution for continuous tumbling adding the typical mechanical action of rope form along with longer dwell times. After thirty years tradition on discontinuous rope form tumblers, today no more fabric cutting, loading + unloading, stitching/unstitching.
FlyAIR is available in two configuration (4 chambers or 8 chambers).
The intense mechanical action of the rope form action determines a characteristic movy look and a particular drape, totally different from the open width tumbling. Long dwell times ensured by the 2 or 4 air jets and 4-8 vats enable the goods to keep tumbling from 20 up to 40 min, compared to the usual 4-8 min permanence in an open width tumbler. FlyAIr effectively unlocks new solutions in finishing and answers a long term request for industrial and continuous rope form tumbling.
FlyAIR 8 enables to reproduce in continuous a two-steps process (steaming + tumbling or two different drying steps) thanks to the two separate air and temperature adjustments (ideal setup for lamb skin effect on pes polar fleece).
FlyAIR 4 enables huge productivity and same effect to a 4 chambers discontinuous tumbler, using a single blower and a single temperature setting.

Foulard

Our padding line aims to cover a wide range of processes, both for the impregnation of chemical products and for pure squeezing.
The foulard line includes 2-rollers and 3-rollers pad mangles for “wet on wet” applications, all entirely made of stainless steel.
The range is suitable for all working widths, from 180 cm up to 360 cm, thanks to the use of cylinders with a diameter from 290 mm up to 375 mm.
The pressure system is articulated by means of compressed air bellows which guarantee high squeezing efficiency, from 14,000 kg to 16,000 kg.
As regards the squeezing rollers, the range consists of crown, semi-crown and parallel rectifications with internal compensation shaft, ideal for accurate impregnation of products, whose uniformity is guaranteed both at low and high operating pressure.
The 3-rollers padder allows differentiated pressures to equalize the moisture content in the first squeezing and apply after the product, in the second squeezing / impregnation step.
For the impregnation, single, double and even triple dip vats are available.
The infeed is available from flat folded fabrics and from A-frame while the output can be synchronized with following machinery through multiple compensation systems, or be equipped with tangential or axial winding wheather the pad mangle is purchased as standalone unit
Our padders come equipped with several scroll rollers options (single or double), in stainless steel or ebonite rubber) and composite solutions with a tangential roller or curved tensioning roller. The hydraulic system irradiates the chemicals at full width in the tray for uniform application.
Optionally we can supply side tanks produced for automatic re-fill of the vat and if necessary, we have counter-current sprayers for cleaning the fabric before squeezing.
The whole is completed by the electrical panel with SIEMENS touch screen, whether integrated on the machine or included in the electrical cabinet of any finishing line (with our tumblers for instance).

NEW

modularity


The modularity of the equipment has been revised and extended, now available in 2 steaming modes (according to the unit content):
Intensive steaming: (260 cm module) with double steaming units, symmetrically placed one in front of the other for maximum steaming intensity. Designed for first steaming action.
Extended steaming: (390 cm module) for bigger fabric content, composed by the same double steaming units, but placed in in front of the other, but not symmetrically, in order to enable a uniform distribution of the steam. Indicated for bigger fabric content.

MULTIPLE ENTRY HOOD


A new design entry aims to fix the growing demand for care of the goods (particularly for digital reactive knits).
Four possible fabric threadings on entry system for digital, rotray prints, heavy goods and light goods or rolled with paper.
A new designed entry hood has been studied for a longer exposure of the goods in open width to the first steam thermal shock (and related shrinkage) before the fold formation. A highly effective heating system has been implemented to prevent from condensations.

FRESH AIR MIX


Fresh air inlet is more and more required to fulfill the double task:

A. Lower the temperature together with the atomized water to face the natural exothermic phenomenon of reactive dyestuffs
B. Improve the color development in case of particular tone of colors (like cian) which requires a higher oxidation value (particularly on digital printing dyestuff)

Fresh air can be thus digitally controlled through the touch screen panel, in percentage of the amount of steam flow.

MAINTENANCE


A specific attention has been posed on the operation and maintenance care, and particularly:

  • The use of 15 cm fixed pitch among sticks with single chain enable maximum stability of the sticks and no synchro among multiple chains (23 cm pitch is anyway predisposed to be implemented mechanically).
  • Two movable platform (one per each door), sliding along the machine enable to reach any side of the chamber for any maintenance operation. The two platform cam be joined together to form a wider base, but during the process the are blocked on the two extremities of the steaming chamber (in and out) in correspondence to the entry doors.

The whole structure is suitably insulated with insulating panels, in painted metal and with very thick rock wool. External finish thick painted sheet metal panels suitably reinforced to ensure the rock wool seal. The panels are fixed to the structure by means of insulation columns. Double insulation of the roof by means of a double layer of rock wool and finished with galvanized sheet. Big care has been taken in proper insulation of the chamber including the basement and foundation panels to avoid heat loss and possible risks of condensation. The panels on the bottom are equipped with a condensate drain when the machine is switched off and on again.

DESIGN


The plant adopts a series of features and solutions with an innovative and practical design.
All cables for wiring are conveniently protected inside easily removable shaped sheet metal ducts (without the use of screws). These channels are also an aesthetic element, a linear and pleasing to the eye pattern.
In the same way, the heating systems (gas burners and diathermic oil connections) are protected by opening casings with an attractive design, in order to avoid direct exposure by operators and protect the systems from dirt and environmental contamination).

All water and gas or diathermic oil and compressed air supply systems are conveniently hidden by easily removable shaped sheet metal casings to ease the maintenance operations and periodic controls beside ensuring a totally linear and clean appearance of the system.

The content varies from 140 meters up to 500 meters, increasing by 40 meters of content at each step.
The working width available are three: 2200 x 2000, 2600 x 2400 and 3600 x 3400.
